VARK Model of Learning

The curriculum is based on the process of learning by doing. The lesson consists of the different learning modalities: visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. Many students learn using a combination of these learning modalities. Because of this, Teacher Mommy-Mommy Teacher meets children on their level, providing information in a way they can easily understand. We believe that everyone has the ability to learn but may process information differently. We provide the tools and learning strategies needed to enhance everyone’s learning experience.

• Introducing new letters

• Identifying the sounds each letter makes

• Repetition of letter names and sounds

• Recognition of beginning letter sound in words

• Identifying lowercase and capital letters

• Matching uppercase letters to lowercase letters

• Forming letters

• Tracing letters
